End user licence agreement

1. What this covers

This agreement is between you and MTKSoft Labs and covers the software applications we publish, together with their updates and documentation. Where an individual product ships its own licence terms, those terms take precedence for that product.

2. What you are granted

On acceptance of this agreement, and where a paid licence applies once payment has cleared, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on devices you control, for the duration described by the licence model shown on the product page.

• Free. The licence continues for as long as the product is published.
• One-time purchase. A perpetual licence for the major version you bought, including fixes released for that version.
• Subscription. A licence for as long as the subscription is active, including all updates released in that period.
• Trial. A full licence limited to the trial period stated on the product page.

3. What the licence covers

A licence is granted for the product, not for a single operating system. Where we publish the same product for more than one platform, your licence covers those platforms. The number of devices a single licence covers is stated on the product page.

4. What you may not do

• Redistribute, resell or sublicense the software, or make it available as a service to third parties, without our written agreement.
• Remove or alter licence checks, copyright notices or version information.
• Reverse engineer the software except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

5. Your content stays yours

You retain all rights to the files and data you create with our software. Ending or cancelling a licence does not give us any claim over that content, and we do not use file formats designed to become unreadable when a licence lapses.

6. Updates and supported versions

We publish updates at our discretion. A version remains supported for the period stated on its product page; after that, it continues to work but stops receiving fixes. We may withdraw a build from distribution — for example when a security fix supersedes it.

7. Payment, renewal and refunds

Prices are shown on each product page, and taxes are applied according to your location where required. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current period. Refunds are available within the period stated at the point of purchase.

8. Verification of a licence

Where a product checks a licence, that check is limited to confirming entitlement. It does not transmit your files, your documents or a record of how you use the software.

9. Warranty

We provide the software with reasonable skill and care, and we test it on the platforms we publish it for. Beyond that, it is provided as is: we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or free of every defect. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the software is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Again, nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Ending the licence

You may stop using the software at any time. We may end a licence if this agreement is materially breached, and where a paid licence is ended in that way without cause we will refund the unused portion.

12. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. The specific jurisdiction and the company registration details are to be confirmed before launch.
